Williams Media AE Plugin Fleet

Sixteen original After Effects effects are built and source-verified locally. They are not for sale or download yet because a plugin is not release-ready until it loads, renders, installs cleanly, and can be supported on a real host machine.

Current commercial status

No public download, no purchase button, no compatibility claim. The next release step is a controlled After Effects host-acceptance pass in a disposable project, followed by signing, checksums, clean-machine installation, Cloudflare delivery, and Gumroad entitlement setup.

This page exists so the fleet has a rightful public URL without pretending the downloads are ready.

Download Pipeline

Host acceptance. Each effect must appear under Effect > Williams Media, accept its controls, render a fixture, and preserve undo/marker behavior where applicable.

Package and sign. Build a per-plugin ZIP or bundle installer, sign/notarize where applicable, and record exact AE/macOS support.

Checksum manifest. Record version, SHA-256, byte size, supported host, release notes, and rollback artifact.

Cloudflare delivery. Upload immutable artifacts to R2 behind a download Worker that issues short-lived signed links after entitlement verification.

Gumroad entitlement. Create product IDs, pricing, refund/support policy, and webhook mapping. Gumroad grants access; Cloudflare serves the actual artifact.

Commerce Boundary

Cloudflare

Artifacts should live in an R2 bucket behind a small download Worker. The Worker validates Gumroad entitlement, logs a non-sensitive delivery event, and returns a short-lived signed URL. The public tools hub remains stateless and should not serve plugin binaries directly.

Gumroad

Gumroad owns checkout, licence/refund/support policy, and buyer entitlement. Product IDs and webhook secrets are provider configuration, not source code. Until those exist, every download field stays pending.

Support

Release notes must name supported After Effects versions, macOS versions, install path, uninstall path, and known limits. No host support claim should ship without matching acceptance evidence.
