Find your multiplier from a past export: source duration ÷ actual render time. A 10-minute timeline that took 5 minutes to render is 2.0×. Faster-than-realtime is >1.0×, slower is <1.0×.
How this is calculated
File size = (video bitrate + audio bitrate) × duration ÷ 8, using decimal units (1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes, 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes — matching how bitrate is normally quoted). It's exact math on the numbers you enter, not an estimate. Render time is the one number we genuinely can't predict — CPU/GPU, codec, resolution, and project complexity all change it — so it's entirely driven by the encode-speed multiplier you supply from your own experience.
